Today my brain feels really empty so I am going to share a devotional I read recently that I thought was really meaningful.
This devotional message below is one I copied from a little book that I really enjoy. It is called "A Taste of the Spirit" and was written by Karen Moore (Christian Art Gifts, RSA, 2006.)
Angel Sightings
"Continue to love each other with true Christian love. Don't forget to show hospitality to strangers, for some who have done this have entertained angels without realizing it!" Hebrews 13: 1-2 NLT
"We seem much more aware of angels at this time of year. We sing with them and delight in the part they played in the birth of Jesus. We even hang special angel ornaments in our houses.
Angels are God's messengers on earth. We can also be messengers of goodwill and peace as we spread the news of Jesus' love for the world. We spread this message through things we do for others. Discover how you can be a messenger of goodwill this Christmas season.
You might help out in a nursing home, visit children at the hospital, visit a shut-in, or send Christmas cards to soldiers overseas.
It's nearly Christmas and it's a great time to be an angel of love and peace."
My Prayer: God I yearn to become better at ministering to those in need...In Your Name.
